Fresh Brewed Work From Flying Dog
Our friends over at Flying Dog Brewery sent us this batch of new stuff they’ve been working on. Their packaging was recently redesigned in-house led by Creative Manager Josh Mishell, still incorporating the high style illustrations of Ralph Steadman, with a bit of clean-up on the design to make sure people know what style beer they’re buying.
In partnership with Denver agency Mighty Karma (who we’d like to see more work from soon), Flying Dog has also launched some new print work that will be running in the “beer geek” publications – DRAFT Magazine, BeerAdvocate and All About Beer. Third, and most importantly for your connoisseurs out there, they’re launching some new brands – a new Spring Seasonal called Garde Dog and another beer called Kerberos Tripel. Ah beer, how sweet it is.

The only shame here is that Flying Dog had to move brewing out of state. Slightly diminishes the Colorado/Aspen/Hunter mystique. And there is hole on Blake Street because of the move. But, yes, let’s see more work from Jeff and the gang at Mighty Karma. Always good stuff.

I think the headline still needs a little work. There is a great core thought there, but, for me, the wording is a little choppy. With a tighter line, this work would go from pretty darn good to just straight up “DAMN!”
