Daily
The Egotist comes clean. And to its logical conclusion.
Thanks for coming to our party. It’s been a great year and a great run. But, we’re sorry to say today is our last day. Because you helped to make Denver suck less, we think you deserve to know just who we are. It’s Sukle Advertising and Design. And now we have to get back to work. Thanks again.

Wow, it all makes sense now. I feel a wee bit like I did when I found out that Santa wasn’t real this past christmas.

This totally expains the 4- month “Interactive/New Media” position I applied for.

You don’t really mean you’re done as in no more Egotist? I didn’t even get to talk to that many people last night and then someone spilled beer on me. I feel like I squandered a vaguely important opportunity. I hope you guys keep going – thanks for all your support over the past year.

It was rumored that Lee Reedy started this. Weird…
Regardless I respect the Egotist’s decision but I can’t say I’m disappointed? After all, when this was first started it was not a means to just help Denver suck less, but to help keep it sucking less, no? This was a means for designers such as myself to keep track of all the goodies going on in Denver and now, I’m lost. I don’t know where to go. Where do I get my fix on Denver design news now???
Farewell my dear Egotist.

Yeah… this seems like a WMD (Weapons of Mass Distraction) ploy. I’m not buying it!

Why don’t you take a seat. Right there. Have a seat.
Do you think it’s ok to pretend you’re a fresh, young ad blog when clearly you’re a much older, much more experienced ad agency? Are you just here to lure innocent creatives?
Did you bring condoms?

Clever change of the tagline “Attempting to help Denver suk less, daily”.

What a heart breaker. I truly enjoyed this blog and appreciated the investment to update this site with all the tasty treats it served up daily. (my only hope is that you are pulling a whopper freakout) Regardless. Well Done.

Although if you are Sukle, then it explains the molotov-cocktail and riot-proof screens over the windows down there ;P

The internets are imploding.

Don’t go! Sukle – you guys rock and are doing some great work. It was such a pleasure to read this everyday, know what’s going on in town and just to see some fresh ideas of work out there. Just what Denver needs. Now what will I look at in my google box on the internet machine?
— A Big Fan · Jun 27, 11:50 AM · #
Does this mean you don’t need Bill to write beer reviews anymore!? He’s going to be crushed.
— mel · Jun 27, 01:38 PM · #
But Sukle does some great work, and this blog more often than not is myopic…
