The New Longmont Ad Club
A start-up meeting for the NEW Longmont Ad Club has been scheduled for later this month. The Club intends to initiate a level of rivalry among Longmont creatives that has previously been nonexistent. It’s organizations like NLAC that have the potential to boost the level of local work. Plus, a little competition never hurt anyone. Check this out for more details.

I’m always on this site, and as a citizen of Longmont I’m so happy our town is finally getting some recognition. It’s ridiculous that Denver and Boulder get all the attention. This site makes it seem like there’s no other creative work worth mentioning in the state. I personally couldn’t be happier, hopefully this helps the local scene, and gives our little town some of the spotlight. Thanks egotist!

Personally I’m pissed. When will Greeley be recognized? Or Castle Rock? Longmont clearly paid someone off and I don’t like it. Not one bit.

Let’s get those people on the bandwagon, they’ve had too much of their depressing strip malls.
Egotist- I’d like to give you a klondike bar.

As a Wheat Ridge resident and business-owner, I am annoyed at you northern urbane Longmonters. I’ll have you know the Wheat Ridge Ad Club and Grange has been active since 1863, when a former miner won fifteen racks of woodtype and fresh-off the boat-from-Europe Clarendon type-sets. Did he choose to locate his soon-to-be prosperous business in Denver City? In Longmont? In Cripple Creek? NO! Wheat Ridge was the place for him. It’s the place for me, and it’s the place for any creative and success-oriented marketeers and visual entrepreneurs who want the pristine vistas, carnation greenhouses, and sweet Clear Creek water that we, as educated and righteous folk, DESERVE! Longmonters: throw open your doors, then walk out of them, southward, to Wheat Ridge!

I am ready to meet longmont creatives and excited that we will meet in JC Penny’s. For it is my favorite place to shop. Are we gathering near the Foreman Grill display?
As far as Wheatridge is concerned; you can keep your grubby type-sets and your stinky Wadsworth. It will always be Main Street to me.
And Lamemont? That is crazy talk, how about Radicalmont, and yes Taco John’s is the best, but alas our own Taco Johns oasis has closed. Now it is Tacos Don Joses forever!!!
And to the person who was bummed that Greeley gets no love: I recognize Greeley.
